We chose Gainesville because I was looking for an Academic Medical teaching position, my wife was looking for good job opportunities as a Registered Nurse in a nice community with excellent schools for our children. G’ville fit all these criteria.
When friends or family come to visit, where is the first place you take them?
The first place we take visitors it to Alachua Sink at Payne’s Prairie, where we see lots of REAL gators, up close and personal!
Describe your ideal day in Greater Gainesville.
My ideal day might consist of breakfast at The Bagel Bakery, a bike ride down the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail followed by snorkeling and a Publix Fried Chicken Picnic at Ginnie Springs, then attending the Hippodrome Theater Summer Musical that evening!
